Welcome to the website of Cardiologie Centra Nederland (CCN), also known as Cardiology Centers Netherlands. As a privately-held network of cardiology clinics, our mission is to provide the highest standard of cardiological care to anyone who needs us, in the most efficient, effective, and timely manner possible. Our care is reimbursed by all Dutch health insurances, with the exception of some preventive tests and tests required for driver's license applications.

How to reach us

If you require a diagnosis or cardiological care and prefer to communicate in English, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your options. We have English-speaking medical staff available at all of our clinics. You can reach us from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 6 PM, at (+31) (0)85-3038620. We also offer the option of live chat, which can be accessed via the chat icon located in the bottom right corner of your screen. Our chat services are available on weekdays between 8 AM and 4:30 PM.

About CCN

CCN was established in 2006 by two passionate cardiologists, Aernout Somsen and Igor Tulevski. Their vision was to offer the best cardiological care to patients in the Netherlands. Starting with just one clinic in Amsterdam, they have now expanded to a network of 12 clinics throughout the country, having treated more than 300,000 patients to date.

At CCN, we are committed to providing the best possible care to our patients. Our approach is simple: we strive to see patients within 48 hours of receiving a referral from their general practitioner. Once they arrive at our clinics, we conduct all necessary tests and analyses within two hours, allowing us to initiate potential treatment plans as soon as possible. For more complex care and treatment, we have established a network of (academic) hospitals across the Netherlands to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care.

Our eHealth tool, HartWacht, is a leading platform that enables patients to monitor their heart condition remotely. By using our app, patients can easily share their data, which is then analyzed by our medical team. This allows us to proactively reach out to patients when necessary, providing timely and adequate responses to potential issues.

HartWacht offers a range of benefits to our patients, including greater convenience and peace of mind, as well as time savings for our cardiologists. By monitoring their condition remotely, patients can avoid unnecessary visits to the clinic, reducing their healthcare costs while still receiving the best possible care.

We are also proud to offer our services internationally through our partnership with AliveCor. Together, we operate in 19 countries, providing patients with access to our medical team for the analysis of their ECG data from portable AliveCor monitors. Our subscription-based service ensures that patients receive timely and accurate responses to their health concerns, no matter where they are in the world.

To deliver innovative digital healthcare, we work closely with Heart for Health, our sister company dedicated to developing and implementing advanced e-healthcare technologies.
